What we make
Tools for honest self-examination that cost nothing to run. The method is deliberately plain: a well-built question, asked by an AI that will not let you off the hook, and a page to write down what comes back. The technology is replaceable — the method is the asset.

Questions, not answers
The AI asks; you answer. If a prompt starts telling you who you are or what to do, it is rewritten. Twelve of the thirty were rewritten for exactly that reason before launch.
Free to run
Everything works on a free AI account and a phone. No subscription, no course login, no upsell required to finish what you bought. That mattered when this was built, because there was no money.
No invented proof
No fabricated testimonials, no made-up numbers, no credentials I do not hold. Quotes that cannot be traced to a published source do not ship — nine were replaced for that reason.
Your pages are the record
Chats get lost, accounts close, models forget. What you write down survives all of it. Every tool here is designed so the durable copy of your work belongs to you.
Safety is not a footnote
Every consumer-facing thing we publish carries the crisis lines and says plainly that this is not therapy. Material that goes this deep can surface more than a workbook is built to hold.
Say the hard thing plainly
The story behind this company is not sanitized and the marketing does not promise outcomes it cannot show. If something is uncomfortable and true, it stays in.
Who I am
I am William Empie. For eleven years I ran food service operations — Assistant Food Service Manager, thirty-three dollars an hour, the only income my family had. In October of 2024 that job ended. Medical bills had already taken whatever cushion we might have had.
What followed was eighteen months of temp jobs, gig work, and applications that went unanswered. Two evictions. The car. The savings. The retirement. Nearly every possession we owned. I wish I were making it up.
One of those nights I opened an AI chat and did not type a question. I typed everything I was carrying, then half-joking asked it to respond the way the great thinkers of history might. What came back stopped me cold — not because it had answers, but because it asked me things I had never thought to ask myself. And here is the part that matters: not one of those answers came from the machine. Every one of them came out of me. They had been sitting there the whole time. Nobody had ever asked.
I kept going. I sharpened the prompts. I went deeper. Today I am working full time again, we have a lease with our name on it, and I am building 1 Honest Question into something that helps people standing where I was standing. I will not tell you these questions got me the job — the applications got me the job. But they are the reason I was still standing to send them, and the reason I knew what to build.
It is never too late to look at your own life honestly. I am not saying that from a stage.
Where this is going
In order, and honestly: get the workbook into the hands of people who need it, publish an essay every week without missing, and earn the first real testimonials rather than writing them myself. After that, one-to-one Sessions and a small group called The Circle — neither is open yet, and neither will open before the work in front of it is done.
